yesterday was an early start - a 6:30am flight out of Canberra with a 9:40am flight out of Sydney...
I have to say Air NZ's safety video is hilarious...in keeping with that, we watched Bridesmaids again!
our flight out of Auckland to New Plymouth was on time at 4:30pm...
we are staying at the race headquarters so it will be easy to (a) get the race packet on Saturday arvo and (b) catch the bus to the start at 6:15am on Sunday...
after settling in, we attempted three caches, finding two...
today I got up earlyish to go for my last pre-marathon run, an easy 40mins...it was very windy so I had a headwind on the way out and a tailwind to finish...

mum and dad arrived in Auckland this afternoon...they are visiting my cousin (who lives here, married to a Kiwi, and gave birth earlier in the year) and my mum's brother and his wife who are also over visiting...they'll be driving to New Plymouth tomorrow...

Have a great run tomorrow - you'll smash it!
Have a good one Bron. Hope the weather's kinder than it is here. Feel like I'm living in the land of the long grey cloud today.
