cycle/gym day...Day 1a of the program...
no speedygeese after work as we were having a whiteboard session for footy which started at 6:30pm...covered game plan and team rules...especially helpful for the new players...apparently we have 30 players on the books and we had 26 at the session...the first bounce (or ball up!) is on 15 April so just under 3 weeks to go...
one item of interest in particular for me is that I will be playing at centre half forward instead of in the ruck...I'm meant to be the "focus" of our attack...a challenging proposition!
today
an easy run at lunch today...started in light rain, it got a bit heavier then was all but finished at the end of the run...by the time I got back to my desk the sun was shining...my training pace is starting to improve without pushing it...

Cook wants to do another HM so we are aiming for the Sri Chinmoy one on the Queen's Birthday public holiday Monday...I haven't done it before and am expecting a mental challenge to do 13 laps!
we've got footy training after work tonight (tomorrow night we have our jumper presentation at Gungahlin Lakes instead of training) but I don't expect we will be doing any ball work with the fellas also training on the small oval at Forde...we will be doing a run of some sort...
I'm looking forward to having some more LMP for dessert tonight! Just got to find some King Island cream...
