you'll be pleased to hear that my golf swing doesn't appear to be any worse than pre-break! I joined Suze at The Cyberbunker in Mitchell after work yesterday to have my first hit in nearly 16 weeks...worked my way through pitching wedge, 5-iron, 3-iron hybrid and 1-wood...I'm aware of my limited wrist cocking but it shouldn't affect my game...the plan is to play tomorrow week...
footy training was held in the Fitzroy Pavilion at EPIC...we pretty much did a full on session (6:30pm-8:00pm) but had to share space with the Jets men...having a roof meant we had to focus on keeping our kicks lower (we didn't want to have to fork out for replacement lights, vents etc!!)...some were better at it than others!
this weekend we play Belconnen - they are 5th and we are 6th but only 2pts behind...if we lose, we could drop to 7th depending on the outcome of the Queanbeyan/ANU match...regardless, we will still be playing in the elimination finals the following week...
tomorrow I'm umpiring Ainslie (2nd) v Riverina (4th) at Kingston which should be a good clash...there's only 6pts separating the top four sides...
