Another long Sunday...

up at 6:40am to get ready and over to Queanbeyan for the second round of the Brindabella Shield Pennant competition (we had a bye in the first round as we were the hosting club)...we were up against Gold Creek and I was playing #2 with Suze at #1...

as it was handicap matchplay we all had to give our opponents at least 6 shots each (Suze had to give 8!)...still we managed to win the match 3.5 / 1.5...I won my match 5 up with 4 to go...

I then had to duck off to the airport to get to Sydney to do the online scoring for the international Twenty20 double-header at the SCG...with delays landing I made it just in time for the first ball of the women's match...

AUS won the toss and fielded first, restricting NZ to 5/91 off 14 after a rain delay in the 7th over...AUS then had a revised target of 95 off 14 overs to win under the Duckworth/Lewis method...

AUS's reply was interrupted in the 8th over and their target was subsequently changed to 82 to win off 12 overs...in the end they did it with 9 wickets and 11 balls to spare...

amazingly the men's match went uninterrupted although the rain pelted down almost as soon as the match was finished...

finally got to bed just after 12 but up again at 5:40am this morning to get to the airport for my flight home...at work by 9am!
