Still blonde & an appointment...

the second planned colour didn't get added as we arrived in Sydney late Wednesday night...which is probably just as well as it might have gone green instead of blue!!

we lost our match against the Western Fury by 9 wickets...we won the toss & batted first making 7/165 while they got the target in the 37th over...

this should give ACT an idea of what they are up against as the Fury are the bottom team in the WNCL...

i managed to chip in with 21 and only concede 17 off my 8 overs...

Friday morning saw my return doctor's appointment...the best option looks like surgery so i have an appointment to see a knee, ankle & foot specialist in January...

we also had our branch Christmas Party on a property not far off Macs Reef Rd so i missed the Customs Pointscore presentation where i was pipped at the post to finish 3rd after leading for most of the series...jodie had a good run on the day to manage another sub 29:00 run to finish 3rd...

checked out an inflatable canoe with Suze at The Wetspot in Fyshwick...not your regular blow up canoe but a fairly hardwearing one which can take 2 people (& a dog!)...organised to demo it Saturday morning...

went to the movies to see The Guardian but couldn't watch it as the unadvertised open captioning was too distracting - we got a refund at least...

tried out the canoe on Lake Burley Griffen - all three of us had a go (it was a surprise for Jodie as she had no idea where we were going or what we were doing)...it's a Christmas present for the household which i will purchase tomorrow!

today's golf was played in weird not quite summery weather where i managed to string together my 5th successive round of good golf (i.e. playing at or better than my handicap) to finish 3rd...

then watched the Aussies get in a great position to regain the Ashes!
