Boxing Day
a mix of watching the first day of the Test & shopping (new swimmers & boardies!)...
Wednesday 27 Decb
had a net session at Radford with Jodie, Suze, an ex-ACT junior who now plays for the SA Scorpions and was over visiting her family, my Meteors captain and her partner (singer for the Rip Offs)...Hux was there as well barking his head off!
after a quick lunch break at Subway we attempted two puzzle caches - we didn't find the first one (Intercepted Transmission III) near one of the reservoirs on Bruce Ridge - we looked for a good 30mins but there were too many good hiding spots!...the second one (Intercepted Transmission) was found within seconds of arriving at the co-ords (phew)...
then it was off to the vet for Hux - a grass seed had worked its way under his skin...something ws excised & now he has some tablets to take as well as have the wound cleaned...
Jodie & Suze had a 5:40pm fight to Adelaide to visit Suze's family so i dropped them off at the airport (they'll be back New year's Eve) before returning home to lay the first coat of paint (Dark Oak) on my pine bookcase...
Thursday 28 Dec
did two caches on my bike this morning both in Mulligan's Flat Reserve...City Gates - Gundaroo Road & Northern Sentinel: Mulligan's Bunker...
i did another one (Not Another Rock) in my car on the way to the mall to get a refund & lunch...
on my way home i did my 100th cache (Time Fore! Caching) which was also in Mulligan's Flat Reserve...
watched the end of the Test before adding a second coat to the bookcase then headed out with Hux for a walk at 7pm...
tomorrow i'm going to the birthplace of the Don with mum & dad to do some more caching & release my own travel bug (called The Sounds of Summer)...
