2 days to go...

and, unbelievably, another Customs PB!

the stats:
start temp/humidity: 14.6/47%
start time: 12:29pm
total distance: 5.01k
total time: 21:35
avg pace: 4:18
total calories: 374
avg HR: 176
finish temp/humidity: 15.2/42%

1k splits: 4:09, 4:15, 4:25, 4:27, 4:15

arrived to find that despite running a big PB last week, no change in handicap because i still only finished in the middle of the pack...Aki, however, got hammered 30secs so unless i either ran poorly or she ran super quick she shouldn't pass me as she was starting 45secs behind me (i think she finished with 21:41, my "old" PB)...Jodie couldn't make it due to work so no halfway target for me to chase!...FlashDuck was there and looked comfortable when i saw her out on the course (don't know her time edit: 25:47)...

Chris Toohey started 15secs in front and i didn't really get past her until about 2ks in...then it was a case of trying to focus on distant runnners to reel them in...i passed Nigel after 3k then a whole bunch (6-7) with about 750m to go...Paul passed me within the last 100m but i think he was the only one to pass me? (edit: Christophe passed me too), i think i was "in the zone" and don't actually remember much of the run...i suspect i may get a hammering from the handicapper this time as i think i finished in the top 5 (edit: top 7 pointscoring-wise, so maybe my handicap won't change??)...it was a big turnout today with about 10 women which is good to see...

one more "very easy" run before the Half...i must say i am quietly confident of doing a good time...

no golf tomorrow - it's the first round of the Women's Foursomes which i can't play as the second round is sunday...will probably watch Jodie play footy at Stirling (2pm) before heading to mum & dad's for my massage...

taking mum (& dad) to lunch at The Deck on sunday after the Half...

Excellent run AR. It will be interesting to see between you and Aki who's the first sub-21 runner.

Good luck on Sunday.

Now that lunch afterwards should be another enjoyable part of the day.

Here's luck for another PB, to start off the week.
