Consistency...

despite less than ideal conditions, i managed my 5th consecutive sub 22:30 Customs run while Jodie extended her sub 30:00 streak to 7....

the stats:
start temp/humidity: 13.5/35%
start time: 12:30pm
total distance: 5k
total time: 22:18
avg pace: 4:28
total calories: 411
avg HR: 171
finish temp/humidity: 13.9/39%

1k splits: 4:19, 4:25, 4:34, 4:38, 4:19

Aki was back with a PB (21:50)...Jodie finished about 50m in front of me (29:39) after her 7:30 headstart...

didn't pass many (maybe 3? - Rick, Gabrielle & Doug) & got passed by about 6 or so...looks like we might be getting some more female runners, i think there were 2-3 extra today although they ducked off early...

i've nearly finished unpacking, only 1 box to go....then it's a matter of tidying up (groan)...

the weekend ahead:

Saturday - easy 40mins + golf
Sunday - easy 120mins

You keep running well, while I wimped out knowing I would be slow and it would take a few weeks to get back to where I was. I will try and start again next week instead, see you then. You set a high standard! Aki did well after her sprint training of last night.

It's great that you've managed so many sub 22:30s, that was my first today, and I have no idea how you do it week after week.

Might not be able to make it next Friday because of work :( but I wish you the best! :)

The password I have here is funny, it's soxdry. How do the antispammers know what I'm thinking?

Good streaks for you and Jodie.

You can wear wet sox Aki - they might slow you down.
