after our disastrous performance last week, we got up and won by 4 runs yesterday against the team in 3rd spot...as my team is currently bottom of the ladder we are basically playing for pride so yesterday was almost like a grand final...
we only scored 6/116 off 50 overs on a very slow outfield but we defended well...they only need 5 runs off the last over with 3 wickets in hand but instead we took a team hat-trick to finish them off!
didn't get home until 10.45pm as the match had been delayed 30mins due to damp patches on the pitch plus i did a bit of everything so i'm glad today is a rest day from running!
today is the start of week 3 (of 14) for the Canberra Half on Sunday 14 May...
This week's schedule:
Monday - rest (!)
Tuesday - intervals: 8x1min/45secSR OR Black Mountain Run Up
Wednesday - easy 40min + orienteering
Thursday - intervals: 4x4min/1minSR
Friday - Customs
Saturday - easy 60min + umpiring
Sunday - cricket
on the house front, the exhibition over the weekend went well and we have a meeting this afternoon with our agent to sift through the offers...
