as you can see the course setter had us going all over the place...i made a minor mistake at the first control because i didn't check the scale before starting - we usually work on 1:10000 but this one was 1:5000 so i went further than i needed too...actually pretty happy with the run (except for the grass seeds i collected) given the number of times we had to go up & down...only made one other real error (6 to 7) when i took the wrong trail and could have taken a shorter route between 4 & 5 (one advantage of being able to use my Garmin with GoogleEarth and do a post-run analysis)...

jodie did the same course and did it in just over 80mins...i think she's actually enjoying the longer stuff although that may be due to the amount of calories she's burning off rather than enjoying the run itself!
noticed a Cool Runner finishing just after jodie...i think it was dan green...i can't believe he just ran in his CR singlet, running shorts and trail shoes which no other protection from the environs...but on second thoughts he was probably too quick to let anything scratch him!
today's running session will be:
10:00 warm up
light stretching
6 x 80m sprints building from 70% to 100% with walk recovery
4 x 1k/90sec standing recovery
10:00 cool down
it'll be interesting to see how this one goes...don't know that i fancy 1k intervals!
got the day off work tomorrow for more house sale preparations but i will still be doing Customs...

Flashduck and I are going to the AIS later this evening (will probably get there at 7:30 +) to watch Luckylegs and meet up with her, if you want to come along. If you do, take some shoes, you might want to go for a run.
