back to my golf on Sunday, I neglected to say that I had vision problems which prevented me from seeing where my ball was going (Suze had to point it out for me)...I had the same issue at footy training last night, with judging marks interesting...
today I called in to see my optometrist...it turns out the new contacts I had opened on Sunday morning were the wrong strength (+1.25 instead of -1.25), no wonder my vision was worse with them in!...looks like the lenses were packed in the wrong box...at least that problem is solved!
yesterday was the usual gym routine in the morning sandwiched between cycling...that was the end of my 10th week with 2 more to go...I'm hoping to continue on after my 12 weeks...the ride home was good if tiring and footy training was fun even if I couldn't see properly...
there were only 10 of us there (we don't play this weekend and have a bye the following weekend) but it was good session anyway with lots of laughs...
tonight is my "farewell" dinner from Amaroo so I spent last night making chocolate mousse for dessert...the main meal will be veal schnitzel, salad and chips, an all-time favourite specifically requested...not sure why I am the one doing the cooking though?!
I did an easy run at lunch...
