More rain...

yesterday we played golf through rain, wind and sun...I finished with 39pts to win by 1...also picked up nearest the pin...

in the afternoon I rode while Jodie did her long run (90mins)...incident-free until I looked at the GPS on my handlebars to answer a question and steered to close to a bush which grabbed my handlebar and threw me on the ground...a few scrapes but nothing really hurt except my pride!

this morning Jodie returned the favour and rode with me while I did my long run (2hrs)...ran a route which avoided any long steep hills as I was keen to keep the pressure off my heel...it also took in areas I hadn't run before so that was interesting...my heel seemed to be OK (that is no sorer by the end than it was at the start!)...

then it was off to Narrabundah to watch the women's All-Star baseball match (north v south) where I iced my heel twice as a precaution...north, coached by Suze, won 21-7...it was played in pretty damp if not at times very wet conditions...Jodie played as well as two other Black Bears, 4 Red Bears and 4 Bandits Blue...south was composed of players from the Rebels, Vikings, Indians and Eagles...
