LA - Day 1

it's 10pm Friday night here in Anaheim...we left Canberra at 9:15am and then Sydney at 1:30pm...

touched down not long after 9am Friday...Kyle Sandilands was on our flight...

had to wait a bit for our transport to the Paradise Pier (Disneyland Resort Express)...checked in about 11:30am - the room wasn't ready but we could ta least change and stow our bags safely...

headed off to the Disneyland Hotel - the Race Packet pickup was being held in the convention centre...we were among the first lot through after queuing for about 30mins...

after we got our numbers we managed to get Jodie moved to Corral A (same as me) - we think the guy made a mistake but we weren't going to complain!...then it was off to pick up some pre-purchased limited edition pins and then the race tech shirt and the goody bag...

we spent about 90mins in the Health & Fitness Expo, buying the odd item and trying other things out..

a quick break in the hotel (our room was now ready!) before we headed to Downtown Disney then Disneyland itself...we managed four rides and one show before heading back...

it was pretty warm today but temps are meant to be dropping...

tomorrow we'll get up around 7am to head out for a run then we've got a hire car and will be going shopping & caching...
