just got all our training in last night before the rain came...
this afternoon I'm representing (along with 3 others) my Department at the APS Annual Golf Day at Gungahlin Lakes...will probably get a bit wet but it sure beats being at work!!
I need to find a lap counter for tonight (although I can count up to 25!!) - was going to get mum & dad to come along but they have a dinner to go to...
and here is ACT's draw for the CA Cup (all 2nd XI teams except ACT & Tasmania):
Monday 3 December v Queensland @ Manuka
Tuesday 4 December v NSW @ Chisholm
Wednesday 5 December v Tasmania @ Chisholm
there are 2 pools of 3 teams (Victoria & SA are the other teams in our pool) and teams are drawn to play each team in the OTHER pool...a single points table including all 6 teams based upon points earned in the round matches will determine the schedule for the finals...
Finals Thursday 6 December
1 v 2 @ Manuka
3 v 4 @ Kingston
5 v 6 @ ANU North
ideally we'd play everyone once with first past the post but SA were a late nominee...

The 10k has been rescheduled for 6 December - see ACTVAC NEWS. Good thing too because it is a pain going through all the preparations for a big race then having it cancelled. Or was it nature's way of telling us to take a break?
