Relaxing...

had a relatively relaxing day yesterday...didn't do much in the morning except watch some cricket then we headed out and found 4 caches in the afternoon...

after Jodie & I did the grocery shopping (Suze and Hux had a play date down the ovals) we had dinner at Gungahlin Lakes then called passed Tim's place to pick up the mountain bike he is lending me for the Brindabella Night Challenge...

speaking of which I also tested one of the temporary tatts I got made for the race:
the team will have these on various appendages - Jodie wants to wear one on her forehead but will have to make do with her cheeks as her helmet/torch will otherwise obscure it!!...Tim will also be the "official" drinks supplier at HQ so he will have a busy night!

it was nice not to have to get up early this morning as we've (or should I say those that actually attend!) been given the week off from gym...

the plan for the rest of the week is:

• Monday - centre wicket @ Kingston from 5:30pm
• Tuesday - 10k @ 5:30 pace
• Wednesday - 8k @ 5:30 pace + travel to Sydney for match v SA Scorpions
• Thursday - ACT v SA Scorpions + travel back to Canberra
• Friday - Customs
• Saturday - travel to Sydney to watch the Wolf Blass NSW Breakers play the SA Scorpions in the first round of the WNCL
• Sunday - club v Bankstown @ Killara

the match on Thursday means I won't be back in time for Track & Field which is a bummer as I will miss out on doing the 3000m, 1500m (P) and the 6 lap Spiral plus the discus & javelin...

the official results from the Mt Majura One Peak Challenge are out...my official time was 1:31:55 (2:10 slower than last year) which placed my 19th overall out of 40 (last year: 29th out of 54) and 11th female out of 21 (last year: 13th out of 32)...

lots of speedygeese were in it too - Helen L (3rd female), Charlie Mc, Roger P, Maria O, Caroline C, Peter H amongst others...
