Sunday's long run...

yesterday was one of three remaining 2hr runs leading into the Sydney Half...

the stats:
start temp/humidity: -3.5/97%
start time: 8:35am
total distance: 21.23k
total time: 2:00:00
avg pace: 5:39
total calories: 1593
avg HR: 150
finish temp/humidity: 2.3/94%

in line with my preparation for the C2S i repeated a 3k loop at the 11k mark which has a long steady climb...a pretty solid workout all up...

started out all rugged up with beanie & gloves but i actually got quite warm & dispensed with the beanie with about 10k to go and then the gloves with about 4k to go...mind you it was pretty windy around Yerrabi Pond & i soon put those items back on after finishing!

nice to finish my run in the company of Jodie, Suze (both on bikes) & Hux...

That was a solid workout with a very cold start. I don't think those outside Canberra can really understand what it is like to run in sub-zero termperatures and how you can actually stay quite warm in those conditions.
