Mini adventure...

after arriving at our accommodation in Pearce's Corner at around 8.30pm, Suze decided we would do a micro cache (called Pearce's Corner) which should only take 30mins or so...90mins later we had returned after successfully finding the cache in the middle of Wahroonga!...we have absolutely no idea why it was called Pearce's Corner!

golf was at Avondale...meant to be one of the best private courses in Sydney however it was in very poor condition when we were there and scores were much higher than expected...i had a good Monday shooting 94 for a nett 78 to be in the buffer and sitting in a good position for day 2...a whole bunch of us walked down to Blue Gums for dinner, very nice indeed...

this morning, it rained from about 3am and i did my run while it was still raining...after a wrong (early) turn about halfway through my Wahroonga Wobble turned into a Wahroonga Wander!

the stats:
start temp/humidity: 10.3/98%
start time: 8:07am
total distance: 9.02k
total time: 50:00
avg pace: 5:33
total calories: 676
avg HR: 10.5/98%

the rain eased, there was the odd shower and it was quite windy at times on the course as i struggled round in 108 nett 92 (very very ugly!)...

headed home around 5.30pm and arrived at 8.45pm after a couple of stops...it feels like we've been gone a week instead of only two days!

my schedule for the rest of the week:
Wednesday - easy 70mins
Thursday - 5 x1k/90secSR
Friday - Customs
Saturday - easy 50mins + golf
Sunday - easy 90mins + cricket training

Hope you enjoyed your "Wahroonga Wobble" Allrounder. I've always felt that taking the wrong turn or getting lost was always the best way of getting to know an unfamilar location.
