40th out of 361, age 72.60%...4th female out of 181...1st W45-49 out of 23...one unknown male ahead of me this week...

I walked the boys when I got home before getting ready to head to Sydney for Tammie's nephew's wedding...for most attending it was an engagement party but it was actually the wedding...it was held in the Camden Show Hall...

from there we headed to our accommodation in Ryde, not far from Olympic Park for the ROC event...

Jodie and Lisa had done all the checking in so once we'd put our gear in the room we headed out to get some dinner...we ended up with Thai which was very nice...

this morning I was up early to do my run...ended up running out and back along the Parramatta River...a lovely morning for it although it was quite humid...lots of cyclists, runners and walkers about...

the stats:
start temp/humidity: 18.1/94% (apparent temp same)
start time: 7:16am
total distance: 14.66
total time: 80:00
avg pace: 5:27
total calories: 1010
avg HR: 138
recovery HR: 107/37

after a shower and breakfast we headed to Olympic Park to take part in the Ridiculous Obstacle Challenge...this was an untimed 5k course with nine giant inflatable obstacles based on the TV show Wipeout...

we were in the third wave after 12pm (~12:15pm)...

the obstacles in order were The Skywalk, Coolrunnings, The Drop, Foam of Fury, Aqua Drag, Wrecking Balls, The Sweeper, Jump Balls and, finally, The Hippo...

I wore my GoPro on my head so hopefully we'll get some good footage plus there were heaps of official photographers on the course...it all went pretty smoothly with no queues at obstacles except with regard to safety and it took about 75mins to do the whole thing...

we eventually made it back to Canberra by 6:45pm...
