"Rest" day and more cricket...

while Thursday was a rest day from umpiring, i went for a run in the morning...

it was quite cool but i soon worked up a good sweat...

just pottered around during the day, watching the cricket and not doing much else...

went geocaching in the early evening and located the cache under the cover of darkness...jodie & suze have fund a further 4 caches down the coast...

friday was back to umpiring...while the first 50 overs were uneventful weather-wise, the second innings was dogged by interruptions with the match eventually finishing at 4.30pm after 16.5 overs in the second innings (only 15 overs were need for a result under Duckworth/Lewis)...

today was day 1 of my second first grade match as an umpire...this was played at Boomanulla between Ginninderra West Belconnen and Eastlake...we started on time under overcast conditions and finished in brilliant sunshine...the match is evenly poised with Eastlake 5/85 chasing 168...

now i'm busy getting my gear together for my own cricket tomorrow at Bankstown...
